SENIOR GRASS (0) vs DP3 - Pine Hills (2)

A huge well done to the DP3 team who took on a very impressive Pine Hills team in what would have to be the fastest and most challenging game of the season so far. The 0-2 score board certainly doesn't accurately reflect the incredible effort that all of the team put in. With so much attack the DP3 ladies were very, very unlucky not to find the back on the box, but certainly put their skills on show in the epic show down.

Congratulations to Best & Fairest Irene Rounds, and a big shout out as well to Larissa Cunliffe-Jones who was absolutely on fire today!

13B (0) vs Easts (4)

This week our U13B team took on top-of-the-table Easts on Field 1. Our girls put up a great fight against a very strong (and very tall!!) Easts team, and showed some good skills and team work.

Our defence worked tirelessly, with Easts coach coming over at the end of the game to complement the girls on their game. Our mid field and strikers put in a huge effort to push forward in attack and had some great runs against such a defensively strong team.

A big shout out to our subs from the U11B team, who once again stepped in to provide much needed help and support - Amelia, Josephine, Eden, Elsie & Izzie - a huge thank you to you.

Although the score board ended at 0-4, the team can be very proud of their performance against such a strong team. We're starting to see some great combinations and team work form, and I'm looking forward to the next time we play them once we've had the benefit of a few more games together.
